Train Schedule: how to use the result
Timetable and running status answer different questions
The schedule shows planned stops and times. It does not establish today’s delay, cancellation or diversion. Use it to choose the boarding station and understand the route, then check live status for the actual service before departure.
Read the journey day
If departure is at 23:30 on Day 1 and your station is reached at 06:00 on Day 2, your boarding date is the next calendar day. Check the station code as well as its name, and distinguish arrival from departure at intermediate stops.
Allow time beyond the published halt
A two-minute halt is not two minutes for entering the station and finding your coach. Reach the station before the scheduled arrival, locate the platform and monitor announcements. Verify special-train schedules and operational changes through NTES.
